"just a dollar fifty" は、 1ドルと50セント

私は、 "just one dollar fifty" と言うかと思ってましたが、

"just a dollar fifty" が、ずっと普通の言い方です。

その理由は、Google 検索では、

"just one dollar fifty" 6 件

"just a dollar fifty"約 11,100 件

です。

つまり、"one dollar fifty"は間違いです。

よく調べると、 "one dollar and fifty cents"が 丁寧で正確な言い方ですね。

で、さらに Google 検索では、

"a dollar  fifty" 約 915,000 件

"one dollar and fifty cents" 約 1,140,000 件

だから、簡略形と丁寧形はほぼ同数です。

"you can ride twelve times for the cost of ten "

の後ろには、省略があります。 

"you can ride twelve times for the cost of ten (times)" 

だと思います、 times の替りに tickets でもまあ同じことです。 

ten dollars ではないのですね。
