The Happy Prince (やさしい物語を英語で)

Oscar Wilde 作の The Happy Prince の文字つき 朗読です。 The Happy Prince は、高校生レベルの英語で充分理解できるそうです。 文字のみなら、次のリンク The Happy Prince  by Oscar Wilde  (1854-1900) などがいいでしょう。 なるべく辞書を使わず、理解できる範囲で、最後まで読み切りましょう。 その後、もう一度読み返します。 一回目で解らなかったところが、少し解ります。 さらに何度か読み返しましょう。 また理解が少し進みます。 音読を、「文字つき 朗読」に合わせて行うのもいいでしょう。 何だかよく解らなかった人は、単語力不足ですから、 次の英語アニメを見てから、原文を読みましょう。

これから紹介するのは、 BS Dlifeの土曜日夕方にも放送されている グッドラック・チャーリーの動画です。 アメリカのホームコメディで、1分ぐらいの小話が詰まった楽しい30分です。 英語は、早口で聞き取りが難しいです。 特に子供の早口は難しい。 これが聞き取れて笑えたら、本当に英語ができたと言えるのでしょうね。 Good Luck Charlie 4x05 Rock Enroll 最初の60秒だけ、聞き取りしてみました。 とても、何度聞いても聞こえず、意味も不明で、正解には程遠いと思いますが、これです。 What's so trouble! Go. spirited! annoy! pussy! sausage! Dad, what's that mean? That's one more sausage. But what are we talking about? with a lot of questions... Oh, it's my collage applications. I'm working on the most important part of a personal essay. So I have to write the some of these topics. A single page could determine my entire future. 500 words sum up the essence. Obtain Duncan. 英語を聞き取れると自信を持ちたい人へ

私は、自分の耳が英語では役立たずで大いに不満です。 日本人にとって、英語の聞き取りは難しいです。 日本人なら誰でもそう感じるはすと思います。 あちこち調査した結果をまとめてみます。 聞き取れない理由 音が豊富な英語の音を、音が少ない カタカナの音に分解して聴くと、聞き取れない 音があります。 英語の音は母音が、約16個あり日本語の5個よりずっと多いです。 英語の子音は、約24個ありの日本語の15個よりずっと多いです。 (音の数については諸説ありますが、どの学者にも一致しているのが英語の音は日本語よりずっと豊富なこと) 英語を発音するときに使う顔面、口、舌、喉の筋肉は日本語とは大きく異なります。 冠詞、複数形が英語にはあるが、 日本語の心には冠詞、複数形の概念がないので冠詞、複数形を聞き取れません 。 日本語の子音は必ず母音で終わるので単語の終わりは全て母音です。 子音で終わる英語の単語は、無声音で発音、発音しない、あるいは次の単語と繋いで発音する場合があります。 また単語の最後と次の単語の先頭の間で連続する似た母音、似た子音は一音素で発音されることがあります。 以上三項目から、日本人には英単語の区切りが判らない ことが頻繁にあります。 結果として、ある単語だけが意味不明とは成らず、文全体が意味不明と成り易いです。 日本人が苦手な子音で終わる発音は、三単現のS、前置詞、複数形などで起きます。 英語の発音は、強弱が激しいイントネーションの世界、 強音はゆっくり、弱音は早めというリズムです。 日本語は、イントネーションが無いので、 日本人が英語の強音に合わせて聞くと、弱音が聞き取れなくなります 。 弱音は、時制(未来、過去形、完了形)、be動詞、前置詞、冠詞などで起きます。 英語の発音は、 早口になると簡略発音になるので、聞き取れません 。 具体的には、舌が高速で動くため、破裂音が弱くなり、 /t/,/d/が、/l/に近くなったり、 文脈上繰り返しになるわかりきった単語の母音が、弱くはっきりしない /ア/ になる。 英語の音が聞き取れるようになっても、 速すぎると、文の先の方を忘れてしまい、判らなくなります 。 文や文章全体を理解して覚えておく記憶力が必要です。 一度聞いた文に似ている文は、聞き取
